SpaceX launches ride-share into space beginning at $1 million

SpaceX has launched a new-based booking tool for its ride-share Falcon 9 launches. Prices for the ride-share services start at $1 million for payloads ranging up to 200 kilograms (440 pounds). The selection tool lets users specify the desired orbit (Sun synchronous, low Earth or polar) and their minimum readiness date (the earliest your payload can possibly fly), with dates starting this June.

I'm going to start a GoFundMe to raise the money to send up a satellite to measure the effects of liberal tears on rising sea levels in November.

The fact that spaceX has gotten the price of space deployment so low that a single person could put a satellite in space is amazing. Granted you'd have to save up for years and make an upper middle class salary or higher, but that's still a massive drop in price.
