Trump administration wants food stamp restrictions to go into effect

The Trump administration reportedly wants to move ahead with new restrictions on food stamps which would allegedly leave around 700,000 people without access to the assistance program. As a result, the Trump administration approached a federal judge for permission to do the same.

Excellent! We have the data from 5 decades of failed welfare state policies. This is the correct move. Food stamps have been a crutch of the perpetually dependant for generations now. It's time to motivate and create a country where we reward hard work and take pride in not receiving handouts. I never understood government "assistance" programs that reward people for not supporting themselves. That isn't assistance that is incentive.

ya... food is a privilege.. not a human right... like that old saying... dark humor is like food... not everyone gets it... I'm so glad I can starve in the street like a dog if the business I launch because I'm an entrepreneur fails when a corporate raider steals my patents... just like other brave American inventors and strivers for innovation.

The tightening of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will make it much harder for able-bodied adults with no dependents to qualify for the benefit. Good there are plenty of jobs to be had Food stamps are for children and disabled people first and other as a TEMPORARY means to eat till they find work not a life time free meal ticket.
