Texas man who killed 5 family members apologizes before execution

A Dallas man was executed Thursday for a shooting in which he killed his wife, two children and two other relatives 18 years ago. Abel Ochoa, 47, apologized to his in-laws and thanked his father and Jesus for turning around his life before he was executed. Ochoa was high on crack cocaine and looking for money to buy more drugs when he started shooting inside his home in August 2002.

Glad he claims Jesus and is dead now. Whether his soul is saved is up to God.

Just so y'all know the Death Penalty costs more than life in prison. Bring that it is high security, more doctors for "humane" treatment while waiting for the day. Not to mention most spend many many years on death row and have many opportunities and many hours in court to try and prove they are innocent. The state should not have the power to kill. Rotting forever is just as good of punishment.
