Oil prices slip as Coronavirus fears overtake OPEC cut optimism

Oil futures gave up early gains on Thursday, bucking down to pressure of a potential slowdown as a consequence to the coronavirus outbreak. This comes despite the OPEC signaling a provisional cut in oil output of 600,000 barrels per day (bpd), though Russia has yet to declare its position on the matter.
