Canada’s federal police clear up Indigenous camps after high court decision

Canada’s federal police has started clearing up Indigenous camps that blocked the construction of a pipeline that goes through Indigenous land. The move has been criticized by rights groups and the Indigenous tribe claims to have not consented to the pipeline being build on land that was traditionally theirs. The pipeline and police actions were sanctioned by the British Columbian high court.
