Sanders and Buttigieg in dead heat in Iowa

Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Sanders are in a dead heat for first place in Iowa with 100% of the caucus results in. Buttigieg leads by a narrow margin with 26.2% among Iowa State Delegate Equivalents, while Sanders at 26.1%. The results came hours after DNC Chairman Tom Perez called for a recanvass of votes. In terms of votes, Sanders finished ahead of Buttigieg by a 43,671 to 37,557 vote margin.
