Industrial production in Germany falls fueling fears of impending recession

Industrial production in Germany fell for the fifth time in the last seven months as analysts predicted that there is a growing chance that the German economy might slide into recession. The country has narrowly avoided recession twice in the last 18 months. The German economy is also expected to register a growth rate of 0.4% in 2020 and 0.9% in 2021.
