Australia, Indonesia move to implement trade deal

Australian PM Morrison and Indonesian President Joko Widodo have announced the kickoff of a historic trade deal between the two countries. As part of this Australia will open Indonesia’s first foreign university campus and consider watering down its travel warnings. The two countries also hope to deepen trade, currently worth $12 billion a year.

This is far more important than people here seem to think. A difficult to believe alliance as both nations were in conflict over east Timor. This could be the start of a pivotal shift in the Pacific. The economic benefits could revolutionise Indonesia and military Alliance could reshape the so far cold conflict with China.
