Resident of Baghdad, Iraq, woke up Tuesday to snowfall, the second in a century. The last recorded snowfall in the city was in 2008. ’Snowfall may continue until Wednesday given the very cold weather’, said the Iraqi Meteorological Centre.
What, no jokes about hell freezing over?
This headline is very misleading. By saying in a century suggests in 100 years. It should really say in this century since they had snow 12 years ago, which is definitely shorter than a century.
But da earf iz hot
Neat! Wish I could get some snow here in Texas. Lately it's just been cool and rainy.
Hopefully this will help the fighting to stop, for a bit. Everyone should enjoy snow.
