Texas sues California over law banning state-sponsored travel

Texas filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court over a California law that prohibits official travel to states that California deems discriminatory against LGBTQ people. In the suit, Texas claims California has ’targeted’ the state because ’Texas protects the religious freedom of faith-based child welfare providers,’ and the ban on state-sponsored travel amounts to ’economic sanctions’ against Texas.

Seriously, bigotry has no place in our legislation. Christian freedom? Legislated? Does that give the Christian KKK a right to act freely on their bigoted impulses?
