Trump says he would rather face Bloomberg than Sanders

President Trump on Tuesday said he’d rather run against former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg than Sen. Bernie Sanders in the 2020 presidential race, and acknowledged Sanders’s loyal following. ’Whether you like them or not, whether you agree with them or not, I happen to think it’s terrible what he says. But he has followers. Bloomberg’s just buying his way in,’ Trump said.

Trump has a much stronger chance of beating Sanders. I suppose Trump knows this too. So by saying that he would rather run against Bloomberg, he is baiting liberals to back Sanders for the nomination.

No Bloomberg 'follower' would ever be threatening riots as $150 just isn't worth a trip to jail.

Hmm, could this be 4D chess? If Trump baits the Democratic party into putting forward Bernie and he bombs miserably because only 20% of the country wants socialism, it could completely fracture the party for decades to come. That's a weak spot that could even lead to another party becoming dominant.

Lol I don't know what's worse, Bernie being nominated and fracturing the whole party for good or Bloomberg getting it and being laughed out of stage for buying a nomination while being a manlet.

I can see why Trump would want to run against one of the most vocal advocates of 'stop and frisk', who only changed his turned when he started to think about running as the Democratic Nominee.

I get what Trump is saying. No matter how screwed up the things he's promoting, at least Bernie earned his place. Paying people to promote you should be criminal.

And Trump WILL face Bloomberg... the DNC has assured it by tampering with elections again this season. Bernie would demolish Trump and harold a new prosperity in America... something the gatekeepers of prosperity for all WILL inhibit. Bloomberg or Trump... a decision between two do nothing intrinsically worth anything to anybody media personalities... welcome to IDIOCRACY writ large.

Perez, on orders, will push for the second ballot in Milwaukee... Mr. Trump will face Bloomberg. Bernie would wipe the floor with Mr. Trump... funny how a democratic party would rather have Mr. Trump than Bernie... perhaps there is only one party afterall?... certainly there is no unity or loyalty to Bernie... who did nearly 40 rallies for Hillary Clinton after the primary was stolen in 2016.

Well, unlike Democrap politicians Trump is not so stupid that he tells the Democrap voters how to vote for. He does hower, probably, think the Democrap is stupid enough to fall for that BS and then he has enough faith in the majority of the US voters believing that they will not vote for a communist. Unfortunately, given that the voted for Obama, twice, I'm not sure that faith is well placed.
