Former head of Mexico’s oil giant Pemex arrested in Spain

Spanish police on Wednesday arrested Emilio Lozoya, the former CEO of Mexico’s state oil firm Pemex. Lozoya is accused of corruption related to a wide-ranging bribery and money laundering case involving Brazilian construction firm Odebrecht SA. His detention is a major positive for President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador who won power on an anti-graft platform.
