Irish PM admits defeat; Sinn Fein seeks talks with Fianna Fail

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar has admitted that Sinn Fein deserved the chance to lead the next parliament, having won the highest percentage of first-preference votes. ’We are willing to step back and allow them do that’, Varadkar said. Left-wing Irish nationalist party Sinn Fein said Thursday it had formally requested talks with center-right rival Fianna Fail to discuss options.

Sinn Fein are the political wing of the IRA, they are terrorists plain and simple. Disgusting to see the Irish people Democratically elect people who were bombing London not 30 years ago. What a disgrace. There seems to be a wave of bigotry and anti English sentiment coming from Ireland and Scotland lately. Never met an English person who's had anything bad to say about the Irish or Scottish yet they scream at us for a war 700 years ago. We're over the fact that the Irish tried to kill our PM, get over the fact you lost a few wars hundreds of years ago.
