Coronavirus cases top 60,000, death toll climbs as the definition gets broadened

The worldwide death toll from the Coronavirus COVID-19 has risen to 1,369 and the number of confirmed cases is now at 60,342. The overnight surge in the rise in cases (over 15,000) comes as Chinese officials broadened their definition of confirmed cases to include clinical diagnosis. Now, lung imaging can be used to diagnose the virus in addition to the standard nucleic acid tests.

The new cases have fallen because China has changed the way it counts infected individuals. Styx is doing good updates daily.

It’s probably way worse than anyone knows. If the CCP would just give the information on the virus they possibly created to the US or Switzerland I’m sure we could find some way to slow it other than dragging people who may or may not be infected to quarantine zones where they will die, putting them in cubes and dragging them to be “examined”, locking them in their homes without any provisions which will most likely lead to them starving to death, or just forcefully breaking down their door and taking them to a hospital which if they were infected or not in the first place they will be when leaving. What’s even worse is they have decided to liquidate animals, which means Chinese people are being forced to kill their pets. For those of you who don’t know cats and dogs eat some of the animals that carry the virus. When the Black Plague started to get bad the pope ordered all black cats to be killed which then resulted in the mass procreating of rats which caused the plague to spread like wildfire. Same thing is happening again, this time it’s due to sheer incompetence on the part of the bugmen who created it.
