Polanski film nominations prompt Cesar board to resign en masse

The entire board of France’s Cesar Awards, the country’s equivalent of the Oscars, has resigned after weeks of controversy over Roman Polanski’s new film which received the most nominations. Feminist groups have called for a boycott of Polanski’s film, questioning the academy’s ’opaqueness’. Polanski has also been accused by over a dozen women of sexual misconduct .
