Russia to lose 2014 Sochi Olympic gold medal as leading athlete faces doping ban

The International Biathlon Union announced a two-year ban for Russian athlete, Evgeny Ustyugov, who was part of the gold medal-winning men’s relay team in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, citing evidence he used the banned steroid oxandrolone during the period. His results from the 2013-14 season have been disqualified. This ban would knock Russia off top spot in the Sochi medal table.

Russia being banned in the 2020 Olympics is pretty huge. also find it pretty funny they investigated themselves and found that it was either bad software or remote access.
