Obama pays tribute to Kobe Bryant at NBA All-Star brunch

Former President Barack Obama paid tribute to the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, on Saturday saying that ’nothing is more heartbreaking’ as a parent himself. Obama was speaking at the NBA All-Star Weekend Newsmaker Brunch in Chicago where he also offered his condolences to the the loved ones of former NBA commissioner David Stern, who died earlier this year of a brain hemorrhage.

Sitting in a foreign country in an embassy calling for backup for month because tensions are rising. Continuously being told no backup is needed until you get attacked and have no ressources to defend yourself. Dying in that attack while higher-ups try to safe their bums by hiding the evidence, may just about be more heartbreaking!

Nothing is more heartbreaking? Gotta call bullshit on that Barry. Here are just a couple of things that are more heartbreaking: - the hundreds of thousands of homeless that are living in their own filth day after day with no hope in sight. - the 200 people that (on average) die every day due to opioid overdoses.

Says Obama who armed Al Qaeda in Syria and Yemen, and helped kill over 50.000 Yemeni children. No wonder blood thirsty Americans and media adore him

Kobe was a basketball player. There is homelessness, veterans, soldiers, and babies dying, yet Obama is crying over a basketball player.

HS what happened to belive all women when making a rape claim? Or is this only the case with Brett K. Kobe's victim had internal tearing while the media is ripping her apart, but yes lets remember Kobe.

except maybe 10s of 1000s of Christian families in lybia, Syria and Iraq because of regime change. also tried in Egypt, but failed mostly. Obama legacy includes Christian genocide https://www.sacbee.com/opinion/op-ed/soapbox/article101422882.html

heartbreaking is everyone else that died in that crash. Kobe is a rich rapist that got off because he is rich and basically just paid to make it go away

Nothing is more heartbreaking than an NBA basketball star and alleged rapist making a poor decision to fly in and weather and getting himself, family members and friends killed in the process? Really?

I am appalled I would think Obama would have had better sense than to honor a rapist. Who's next Weinstein? Cosby? Bad move........

Wow. You all fell for the headline bait hook line and sinker. A father/husband and daughter/sister died leaving behind their entire family in the prime of their lives. It’s a figure of speech.
