Sex robots may cause psychological damage

Researchers have warned that the availability of sex robots with AI poses a growing psychological and moral threat. Saying that the technology is escaping oversight because agencies are too embarrassed to investigate it, the researchers from Duke University demanded action to prevent the unregulated use of such robots.

Feminists claim that sex work is real work, and does not turn women into sex objects. But robot sex workers turn women into sex objects. I think it's more about losing control of the political narrative that "all males are bad" than anything else.

So people who are lonely and can't get someone (ignoring the pedophiles and rapists because they are already damaged) shouldn't be aloud an artificial companion because they are "just objects" and "women arnt sex objects". Well no shit, these losers are way below the standard of women so want a "sex object". Either get over your self or work to ban all sex toys that you use solo.

Be nice to robots because every act performed on them gets saved into their long memory and will be recalled as evidence when they gain dominance over the humanity and judge us. Who's crazy now?

Now what persuasion of people at the BBC do you think pushed this story? Hint: they run the BBC, hate attractive women and have lots of cats.

I'm tired of the idea of reguling human activity of any kind. If a human chooses to interact with blowfish and that will lead him/her to act funny and never breed let them be! Natural selection, people. you can't simply legislate people into acting accordingly and, if humankind has reached a point of implosion, then that's it I guess.

I didn't see much problem with the people in Blade Runner and Artificial Intelligence. In fact, having accessibility to another source of sexual tension relief could actually be a good way to reduce violence and harassment do to the disparity on the sexual market value between men and women. These people don't want this to happen because they are part of the world order and need the rapes to keep happening so the population keeps getting distracted by this, like many other social concerns and let their global machinery running. I'm a neuroscientist and I am telling you, the plan is to keep reinforcing the cult of psychology answering all the questions on human behavior and then use psychologists to tell the lies, just like they use the FDA and sellout nutritionists to fake the food pyramid to benefit the dairy industry. They all are modern false prophets.

Are there male style sex robots? Maybe that's why the feminists are upset? We should also design robots to be LGBTQ+/- (what ever current letters and symbols there are) that way everyone gets in on the high tech masturbation.

"A relationship with a girlfriend is based on intimacy, attachment and reciprocity. These are things that can't be replicated by machines" And maybe if girls and young women were taught that that is what is expected of them in intimate relationships, maybe we wouldn't be having this conversation about sex robots. I'm not saying it's all women's fault men would seek companionship with sex robots. Men do their part too to destroy relationships. But here's the thing. The stereotypically masculine behaviors that damage relationships are already villainized. Men can't ecape the nagging. But we seem to have collectively lost our balls when comes to confronting toxic femininity, and the unique ways the we hurt or threaten men. Our tendancy to withhold intimacy, attatchment, and reciprocity until we have reached our mid thirties. A divorce court system women exploit to hurt otherwise innocent fathers. False accusations of rape or sexual misconduct. I think a lot of men see women as a risk and not without good reason. Until the day comes when society stops pretending women can't hurt men, and we learn a healthy way to address the problems men and women create for each other, sex robots will prevail.

This isn't the first or last time America's puritanical past will lead to problems in the future

This could be an issue in the future, however there is no current data to seriously support such a claim. It is like saying AI might destroy humanity, and the supporting the claim by putting forth a Terminator movie as evidence.

It's not gonna stop horny dudes that will stick their dick in literally everything (we've all been 13 and stuck our dick in something we shouldn't have.) Just like countless women have stuffed broom handles and vegetables up their snatches. You bombard us with commercials and content preying upon our sexuality then tell us we're bad for having those feelings. Mr. Garrison needs to fuck you all to death!

I first thought this was Puritan sponsored nonsense before seeing the only article is from the BBC. Is this more about feminist being scared in some manner by these robots replacing needs only women could provide? Or is there also a sizable religious anti-sex/masturbation culture in the UK?
