I read this differently, a pattern of bias for a two tiered system of justice exists in the DOJ. If you belong to the deep state or are an avowed collectivist then you face little to no punishment for any crime. Everyone else on a spectrum from non-flag officers and enlisted or non-leftist politicians get the maximum penalty or beyond for federal indictments. If you continuously lie under oath like the Clintons, Comey, McCabe, Schiff, etc you face a wrist slap or less. If you are Flynn or Stone and are entrapped without legal counsel present you somehow deserve more jail time then the average of a convicted rapist (4.5) and possibly have the maximum sentence ignored for a harsher penalty of obstructing the interests of the deep state. This move for an independent counsel means the AG distrusts his agency because of previous miscarriages of justice by the DOJ. This is warranted and prudent as a measuring stick of how far this department needs fumigating.
