Global coronavirus cases rises to 71,810 with 1,775 deaths

Authorities scrambled on Monday to track hundreds of cruise ship passengers who disembarked, after an American woman who had been on board tested positive for coronavirus. Globally, the total number of coronavirus cases has risen to 71,810, with 1,775 deaths. Japan and Singapore appeared to be on the brink of recession as they are the worst affected outside of China.

Wasn't it just a couple of days ago a poster was saying that a few hundred deaths isn't a global pandemic. The precautions taken by most governments lead me to consider that maybe they were aware of the issue and of just how bad this will get to jump there gun and start planning early.
