Plymouth Rock vandalized with graffiti before 400th anniversary celebration

Plymouth Rock and other landmarks were found covered in red graffiti Monday, as the city gears up to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the pilgrims’ arrival to the new world on the Mayflower. Also damaged were four artworks in the shape of scallops. Authorities say no arrests have been made. Crews had the famous rock cleaned up late Monday morning, and the site was open to tourists.
