Obama and Trump trade claims on the economy

Former President Obama recognized the 11th anniversary of the signing of the $800 billion Recovery Act and noted that it started a record period of economic growth. During the last three years of Obama’s administration the economy added 8.1 million jobs while it gained 6.6 during the first three years under Trump.
