Jeff Bezos announces $10 billion fund to fight climate change

Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon said that he would pledge $10 billion to fight climate change, and announced the setting up of an initiative called the Bezos Earth Fund to this effect. Climate activists, however, have maintained that a large part of the climate crisis has been exacerbated by companies like Amazon, and many organizations have called Amazon a ’big polluter’.

Investing in R&D is the best thing we can do. Improved efficiency in our basic infrastructure is a win for everyone. Throwing money at "activist groups" and NGOs is wildly counterproductive.
