’Ice volcanoes’ erupt on Michigan beach during Arctic blast

A bitter blast of Arctic air created an interesting phenomenon to Lake Michigan: erupting ’ice volcanoes’ . The National Weather Service said the sight was captured Sunday at Oval Beach in Saugatuck. An ice volcano is a cone-shaped mound of ice formed over a lake by the eruption of water and slush through an ice shelf, and they tend to form on shorelines where waves strike with some force.

I wouldn't really call that a volcano. More like a wave depositing ice in the shore.

Calling it an ice volcano is just a participation award.
