Appeals court sides with Florida ex-felons in fight for voting rights

A federal appeals court on Wednesday upheld an injunction of a Florida law that barred ex-felons from voting if they had not paid fines and other fees related to their sentences. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, affirming a district court’s previous decision, said the Republican-led effort to require ex-felons to pay up before they can vote violates the Equal Protection Clause.

So again republicans defied the wishes of the public, that was displayed in a vote. They crafted blatantly unconstitutional legislation knowing most ex-cons couldn't meet the standard. Why because most ex-cons would vote for a democrat instead of a republican. Republicans restricting voter right to maintain power, it criminal, disgusting, and undemocratic. Sounds like Trump's republican party to me.

Felons shouldn't be voting. Simple as that.
