High fat, processed sugar diet impairs brain function, research shows

As per a study published in the Royal Society, consuming high fat and added sugar for as little as one week can subtly impair brain function. Researchers found that following a week on a ’western diet’, volunteers scored worse on memory tests. They attribute this to disruption of the hippocampus brain region. Another study found a ’Mediterranean diet’ improved brain function and longevity.

Don't fear fat. Eat real food with healthy fats. Cut back on carbs and sugars. Processed plant oils are horrible.
