Two confirmed dead after train derails outside Melbourne

A train, carrying at least 160 passengers from Sydney to Melbourne, derailed at around 7.45pm on Thursday (Feb 20), 45km north of Melbourne. Victoria Police confirmed two people have died, while Victoria Ambulance said paramedics were treating the injured at the scene. Four people have been taken to hospital ’in a stable condition’. It is not yet clear what caused the train to derail.

It is no laughing matter but you have to appreciate the "she be right" attitude of "it was scary, but we are having a cuppa now". *quote in Sky News article* I truly hope the death toll doesn't go up and the transport commission gets to the bottom of what happened.
