Tennessee man executed by electric chair for killing fellow inmate in 1985

Nicholas Sutton, convicted more than three decades ago of stabbing a fellow prisoner to death, was executed in Tennessee’s electric chair Thursday. It was the fifth time the state has used that method of execution since 2018. He was sentenced to death in 1986 for killing fellow inmate in a conflict over a drug deal. At the time of the killing, Sutton was serving time for murdering three people.

I actually do believe in the death penalty in some cases, but what's the point in this case now? To make sure the chair still works? This isnt justice anymore. No one will get any satisfaction or closure over this. This is a joke. 35 f'n years on death row?! That's not fair to him or his victims.
