MSNBC host likens Sanders winning to Nazis taking France

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is facing criticism after he compared Sen. Sanders’ victory in the Nevada caucus to the Nazi invasion of France. Matthews added, ’Do they want Bernie Sanders to take over the Democratic Party in perpetuity? Maybe they’d rather wait four years and put in the Democrat that they like’. Online users have called for Matthews to resign for his insensitive comments.

Chris Mathews is a hack. He’s just fear mongering because he’s going to be affected by sanders’s wealth tax. He compares sanders to a regime and ideology of communism that doesn’t exist anymore. What sanders offers while he says it’s Social democracy. It’s really welfare statism. Which is just a capitalist economy with welfare programs to support people that are falling behind. It’s not even close to socialism.

I'd liken Sanders winning Nevada caucus to be more like Italy invading Ethopia circa 1935. It happened before the "real" war, made little difference except to those involved, and is mostly a footnote to history as it had no effect on the final outcome.

I wish Bernie had the balls to call out this bullshit that MSNBC puts out against him. Chris Matthews and Joy Reid need a thorough verbal beat down on live television.
