Britain’s new passport designed in France and made in Poland

The UK government has unveiled the country’s new, non-EU passport which will be dark blue, as it was before 1988. With this the UK joins 81 countries with a blue passport. The new passport was designed by the Franco/Dutch company Gemalto and will be made in Poland. The passport will also be the first to be certifiably carbon neutral.
