Seven killed in Delhi as protests against citizenship law intensify

At least seven people have been killed and dozens were injured amid clashes in New Delhi as protests against India’s controversial new citizenship law intensified. A policeman and six civilians were amongst those dead. Vehicles were set alight in the clashes between supporters and opponents of the law. The timing of the clashes is seen as an embarrassment to PM Modi as he hosts President Trump.
