Firefox internet browser will now encrypt web site lookups by default

Mozilla Firefox will now have DNS over HTTPS (DoH) on by default for people in the US. People outside of the US can turn the feature on as well but it isn’t on by default. According to Mozilla’s web site even encrypted HTTPS sites — had to perform lookups without encryption and data could be collected by third parties. This adds an encryption layer to a process that previously lacked one.
