Bumblebees remember objects they see and recognize them by touch

Scientists reported last week that bumblebees have an ability to recognize objects using different senses. The insects are able to recognize objects by sight that they’ve only previously felt, and vice versa, according to researchers from the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and Macquarie University. Researchers had previously found that bees can learn by watching other bees.
