Anderson Reservoir to be completely drained: Federal government

The Santa Clara County has been ordered by the federal government to completely drain the Anderson Reservoir. The government has said that an earthquake could trigger the collapse of the dam, and has hence ordered the largest water source in the county to be drained.

incompetance in local government "in 2011, the district began planning a five-year, $550 million project to rebuild the dam to reduce earthquake risks, with work set to begin in 2022." why does it take 11years to start fixing a dam in danger of collapse? TY Trump administration for doing something.
