Explosion sparks huge blaze in LA oil refinery

Los Angeles County firefighters responded to a refinery fire Tuesday night in the city of Carson. As per reports, massive flames could be seen burning from the Marathon Petroleum Corporation located 13 miles (21 kilometers) south of downtown Los Angeles. The fire forced the closure of nearby freeways for approximately 30 minutes.
