Schumer announces $8.5 billion request for emergency coronavirus funding

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is requesting $8.5b in emergency funding to combat the coronavirus. The funding would include $1.5b for the CDC, $3b for the Public Health and Social Services Emergency Fund and $2b to reimburse states and local governments for money they spend related to the virus. It also would include $1b for vaccine development and $1b for an emergency reserve fund.

Schumer really is a incompetent buffoon. just throw money at issues and think that solves it he is literally moving money into slush funds under the presumption of just in case. no wonder we have massive debt problems
