First US coronavirus diagnosis with ’unknown’ origin

The CDC announced the first domestic COVID-19 case of ’unknown’ origin. The ’unknown’ tag refers to the belief that the patient had no known exposure to the virus through international travel, or close contact with a person who was known to be infected. This brings the total number of cases detected within the US to 15. The patient is a resident of Solano County in the northeast San Francisco Bay.
