A 19-year-old Houston woman, babysitting her nephew, decided to take a selfie of the two of them while holding a loaded gun. The gun went off hitting the boy in the stomach. He is in critical condition but is expected to recover fully.
This is a negligent discharge from poor gun safety and bad trigger discipline.
it doesn't matter if this was a accident or not you don't play with guns, and you ecspieaclly don't play with a loaded gun around a little kid. You should always treat a gun as if it is loaded, they aren't toys.
fortunately, the nephew is stable and expected to recover.
maybe time to look into all the adults involved.
did the parents leave a loaded gun for the babysitter to find?
was the babysitter snooping around?
will the family ever forgive her?
