Britain opens EU trade talks with a threat to walk away

On Tuesday the UK released its strategy for the trade deal negotiations with the EU with a warning that it will walk away from the talks in June unless there was substantial progress to reach a free trade agreement. Britain is demanding a trade deal along the lines of one between the EU and Canada. The EU has ruled that out, saying Britain, being a neighbor of the bloc, is a greater threat.

Good open tbh. Especially considering their previous weak negotiation with May. You can always soften later.
