Climate change lengthens Australian summers by 50%: study

Australia’s summers have become twice as long as its winters amid increasing temperatures driven by climate change, according to a new weather data analysis. The Australia Institute said over the past five years, Australian summers were on average 50% longer than they were in the mid-twentieth century based on temperature readings.
