PM Netanyahu’s Likud Party leads in Israeli election but seems short of majority

With 90% of the votes, counted, Israeli Prime Minister’s Likud Party has won 37 parliamentary seats versus the Blue and Whites 33. Overall, Likud’s coalition has 59 seats but is short of the 61 needed to form a government. They can swing two members of parliament, add parties to the coalition or form a unity government. But they have not succeeded in such attempts after the past two elections.
