Jonah Martinez found 22 Spanish coins while searching on the beach with a metal detector. He estimates the coins to be worth $6,000-$7,000. The coins are suspected to be from a fleet of 11 ships which wrecked over 300 years ago.
In 20 years of searching he found 22 coins just now. Thats averaging 1.1 coin per year. Total cost of the coins are $7000. Thats $318.18 per coin. So thats 87 cents per day. Not nearly as impressive as it sounds.
