Climate change boosted Australia bushfire risk by at least 30%

As per a new study, global warming boosted the risk of the hot, dry weather that’s likely to cause bushfires by at least 30%. The analysis done by the World Weather Attribution consortium says that the hot and dry conditions that helped drive Australia’s bushfire crisis would be four times more likely to happen if global heating reached 2C.
