Asia is home to 99 of 100 cities most at risk environmentally

According to a new risk assessment, of the 100 cities worldwide most vulnerable to environmental hazards all but one are in Asia. Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital, topped the ranking. The report predicts that India, home to 13 of the world’s 20 cities most at risk, faces a daunting future. Factors influencing the ranking included pollution, dwindling water supplies, climate emergency, among others.
