New York AG orders televangelist to stop ’false advertising’ around COVID-19

As NY declared a state of emergency amid a spike in coronavirus cases, the state’s AG has called out Christian televangelist Jim Bakker for ’false advertising’. On the TV show, Sherrill Sellman, a naturopathic doctor, claimed his ’Silver Solution’, sold for $125, while not tested on the novel strain of the coronavirus, has been tested on other strains and is ’able to eliminate it within 12 hours’.

while not all televangelists are bad people/ have little faith... it is very sad how much many televangelists shame noth just themselves but also who they claim to believe in, ie God. :(

Some people never learn their lesson. You would think spending eight years in prison for defrauding the public once before would be a reminder that taking people's money under false pretenses is not the way to go. I guess not.
