Mark Meadows to self-quarantine after potential contact with coronavirus patient

Mark Meadows, the incoming White House chief of staff, said Monday he would self-quarantine after potentially coming into contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19. Meadows was told this weekend he ’may have come in contact’ with a person who tested positive for the coronavirus at the annual CPAC, last month. Honestly they deserve whatever is coming. I dont have sympathy for people that deny and downplay and then want sympathy when they themselves are affected.

It is extremely unlikely that he has it. The contact was more than a week ago and he has no symptoms and tested negative. It would be an excess of caution except that his job entails regular contact with the President who is in his 8th decade. Given that, extreme caution make sense.
