Residents flee after clashes in Indonesia’s Papua

Clashes between security forces and separatist rebels in an area near the Grasberg copper and gold mine has resulted in nearly 1,000 residents in Indonesia’s Papua to take refuge in the city of Timika. The copper and gold mine is operated by Freeport-McMoRan Inc.
