Sanders faces pushback over call to make coronavirus vaccine free

After comments calling for making the coronavirus free, Sen. Sanders is facing a pushback for the call, with critics noting the move would disincentivize pharma companies developing such a vaccine. ’Once a vaccine for coronavirus is developed, it should be free’, Sanders tweeted Sunday. Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said last week that he would ’work to make it affordable’.

Of course Trump shows limited understanding of vaccines. He is not a medical scientist. Do you know who else shows a limited understanding of vaccines? Everyone else who isn't a specialist in the field. Including all prior presidents!

When in doubt. Make it FREEEEE!!! If it's free, it doesn't cost anything. Everybody knows that. So just say something is free and it magically appears in your hand.

I'd rather the person making my sandwich at subway be able to have acess to the vaccine even if they cant afford to pay for it. hell I'd rather they stay home but in this country I know that isnt really feasable.

If U.S. had #MedicareForAll, everyone could get evaluation, treatment, vaccination at no cost - and we'd likely all be better off.

So if someone can't afford the treatment then what? This is crisis profiting at its finest and Republicans are lining up to pay. 🤦‍♂️
