Biden says he’s a ’bridge’ to new ’generation of leaders’

On the back of support of support from Sen. Harris, Sen. Booker and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Joe Biden called himself a ’bridge’ to future Democratic leaders Monday night. ’There’s an entire generation of leaders you saw stand behind me. They are the future of this country’, Biden said.

He's the world's most rickety bridge, held together by PVA Glue and discarded pharmaceutical scripts

Oh, Mr! Biden. Oh, the cringe! I grew up in Michigan, and frankly to use "bridge" as an metaphor, especially coming from a very old man with slurring and rambling speech, is hilariously cringe worthy. No one in Michigan uses a bridge as an metaphor for optimism. It's a joke about crumbling roads and infrastructure and the punchline is usually the name of the current governor, although it sometimes extends to the names of presidents and presidential candidates. For example. I would never drive cross a bridge named Joe Biden. or Oh look (points to decrepid bridge full of holes), it's Biden's Bridge!

If he's a bridge, it's the one Over the River Kwai. And he'll probably end up the same way, in splinters.

Centrist democrats are republicans who were kicked from the GOP for not being willing to hate minorities and the poor (all of whom believe the groups to be the same thing) in the open, instead of just behind closed doors.
