China’s Xi Jinping makes 1st visit to coronavirus epicentre Wuhan after outbreak

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Wuhan on Tuesday for his first visit to the epicenter of the country’s coronavirus epidemic since the crisis erupted in January. Xi’s visit is happening at a time when the number of new infections in China has started to decline. Xi will inspect the epidemic prevention and control work and visit medical workers, community volunteers and patients.
